Situated on the eastern coast of India, Odisha is a significant agricultural center, with rice serving as its main crop. During the monsoon season, which is marked by copious amounts of rainfall, farmers also grow vegetables, oilseeds, and pulses. In this varied environment, production is increased by applying both conventional and contemporary methodologies.
Vikash's presence in this region aids in production, marketing, and managing weeds without pesticides, as well as in harvesting and many other areas. By implementing new ideas and technologies, more than 5,000 farmers in 200 communities are actively beginning to move towards organic and natural methods of agriculture.
